What MyLake.com is, and what it is not
MyLake.com is a real estate media and referral service operated by Joseph Simonds, a licensed Florida real estate sales associate with The Stones Real Estate Firm LLC. We publish content about Florida lakes and lake homes, and we introduce buyers and sellers to licensed real estate professionals.
We do not list property, show property, or negotiate transactions. Any agent we introduce you to works for their own brokerage, not for MyLake.com.

Everything on this site is general information. It is not real estate, legal, financial, tax, insurance, or engineering advice.
Lake conditions change. Water levels, boat access, chain connectivity, weed and algae conditions, noise, traffic, and flood exposure all vary by lake, by shoreline, and by season. Verify anything that matters to your decision with your own professionals and your own inspection before you buy or sell.
Accuracy
We work to keep information current and we correct errors when we find them, but we do not guarantee that everything here is accurate, complete, or up to date. Information drawn from public and third-party sources carries whatever errors those sources contain.
How the referral relationship works
If you ask to be matched with a lake expert, we may receive a referral fee from the receiving agent or their brokerage if the introduction results in a closed transaction. You never pay us a fee.
An introduction creates no obligation. You are free to work with anyone you choose, or with no one.
Fair housing
We support the Fair Housing Act and Florida fair housing law. We do not steer buyers toward or away from any area based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected class.
Using this site
Do not use this site to break the law, scrape it at scale, interfere with how it works, or misrepresent who you are.
Content ownership
The writing, video, photography, and design on MyLake.com belong to us unless credited otherwise. Please do not republish it wholesale without permission. Linking to it, or quoting a short passage with attribution, is welcome.
